NYPH'09: Robert Walker

Introducing Robert Walker as featured in All over the place! curated by William A. Ewing.

As a photographer, Montreal-born ROBERT WALKER has transitioned from urban landscapes to up-close-and-personal naturescapes. He explains, “I consider myself a street photographer of the old tradition and started photographing in 1975, exclusively in color. In the jumbled chaos of New York City, where I usually work, I like my pictures to have the crisp, clean color, the choreography and humour of a Disney cartoon. Recently I have turned my gaze on the natural world.”
